Choose Your Finish
Raw Print – Unassembled Parts
Supplied as the individual 3D printed components with supports removed and basic clean-up completed. Pre-cut internal reinforcement rods are included where required. Due to the complexity of this model, assembly should be undertaken by someone comfortable with fitting, bonding, filling and finishing large multi-part 3D printed props.
Sanded & Primed – Ready to Paint
The components are professionally assembled where appropriate, reinforced, seams filled, surfaces sanded and the prop primed, leaving it ready for your own final paintwork.
Complete – Finished & Painted
The full prop is assembled, internally reinforced, prepared and hand-painted by Potify3D for a cosplay/display-ready finished piece.
Construction & Reinforcement
Gest of the Mighty Wolf is one of the most complex cosplay props currently offered by Potify3D. The original design consists of 17 main printed sections, with multiple interlocking and layered components forming the highly detailed guard and blade.
The model has been specifically designed with internal reinforcement channels throughout the prop. 5 mm and 10 mm metal rods are used where appropriate within assembled versions, helping align the individual printed sections while providing additional rigidity through the finished sword.
The internal reinforcement extends through key sections of the blade and central assembly, creating a much stronger finished prop than relying on adhesive between printed sections alone.
Due to the intricate construction around the guard, components must be assembled in a specific sequence. Considerable fitting, alignment, seam filling and finishing work is therefore required during assembly.
Raw Print – Unassembled Parts customers receive the printed components ready for their own assembly and finishing. Internal reinforcement rods can be included with the kit, cut to the required lengths for assembly.
For Sanded & Primed and Complete versions, the reinforcement system is installed by Potify3D as part of the assembly process.
3D Printed to Order
Every sword is individually manufactured using FDM 3D printing. Subtle layer lines and handmade finishing characteristics may remain, particularly on fully finished props.
